The construction of Veka Giz Plaza started in 2005 on the land between Spring GIZ Plaza and Beybi GIZ Plaza. Our building is separated into two as Block A and B, in Block A there are totally 27 floors consisted of 22 office floors, shopping centre on the entrance and ground floor, 2 basements and 1 utility floor on the top; in Block B there are 5 floors for parking. Veko Giz Plaza is constructed as a Class A office building by using of high quality supplies and workmanship.

In our building, which is constructed as a shear wall, column, beam and waffle slab system upon raft foundation, the gross-floor area is 900 . There are totally 88 offices, 4 offices in each floor. Each floor has the substructural capability to accommodate 1 to 4 office units.  Veko Giz Plaza, where 17 cm raised flooring system can be used within the office floors, is suitable for the installation application that will cover the occupation requirements best.  

The windows of our building, of which the exterior part is made of aluminum curtain walls and is compound plated, are made of insulating glass that has a high heat-transmission coefficient and sun reflection and of which the reflecting layer takes place on the inside. There is an indoor parking area for 222 vehicles 2 of which are registered in the name of each office and also an outdoor parking area of 57 vehicles for the quests. The 7 pieces of elevators within the building are of KONE brand and each of them has the capacity of 2.5 m/s speed and 13 people/1000 kg.

Fresh air conforming to the ASHRAE norm is ventilated to the offices and a heating and cooling system of the offices are supplied by chiller and fan-coil systems. Fan-coiler enables precise control over the space with its thermostat controller installed in each room. On the other hand, heating, cooling and air conditioning systems are observed 24 hours by the central building automation system. Thus, the operation of whole system is controlled automatically and this enables a prior intervention to the potential problems.

There are emergency staircases with shear walls, fire-hose cabinets and fire extinguishers in each floor within Veko Giz Plaza. Our building is monitored with a controlled and intelligent fire alarm system that is controlled and observed 7/24 by a professional team, and a sprinkler extinguishing system protects our building against fire. Besides, there is a security system which deactivates aspirators and ventilators in case of fire and there are dampers, which takes place within horizontal and vertical passages and are turned off in case of a fire, connected to the fire detection system. On the other side, 2 pieces of tanks provide the water that our Plaza will need during fire extinguishing and besides there are 2 clean water tanks. All ISKI (Istanbul Water and Sewerage Authority) connections are installed and offered to the usage of tenants.

Veko Giz Plaza has a power distribution unit of 1.600 KVA and a generator of 1530 KVA that supports heating, air conditioning, fire systems, lifts and lighting of common spaces.
